Boxing up texts
Today in Year 5 and Year 6, we carried on working on the Unit about Animals and we focussed on boxing up texts. Children were first given a text about animals which they had to scan in order to find particular information to fill in a chart provided by the teacher. Once they finished this 1st task, they proceeded to fill in the 2nd part by adding info about another animals. To be able to do so, they used their ipads to look up different details about their chosen animal. This will be the prelude to allow them to write a text about the animal they chose.
